Compensation: $70,000 - $78,000/ annually 

 

The Operations Manager (OPM) is an important part of Chord Specialty Dental Partners operational leadership team. The OPM reports directly to the Regional Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and organized, and possess strong conflict resolution and leadership skills. The OPM will have responsibility for overseeing dental practice operations in a large dental practice, which offers multiple lines of service.  The OPM will be responsible for managing employee and patient relations and achieving operational and financial goals. The position includes responsibility for office profitability as a function of effective schedule management, collection of appropriate patient co-pays, staff productivity, and miscellaneous operational expenses. Operational responsibilities also include administrative tasks such as bank deposits, financial report reviews, staff payroll, scheduling and managing overtime.

 

Location: Must be able to travel between West Grove & Exton, PA sites on a weekly basis*  

 

Exton: 235 S Pottstown Pike, Exton, PA 19341.

West Grove:  900 W Baltimore Pike Suite 203, West Grove, PA 19390.

 

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday. 

Responsibilities

Leadership and Management

  • Provide effective leadership to the office team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for professionalism, work ethic, and ethical behavior.
  • Supervise and develop staff, including conducting performance evaluations, implementing corrective actions, and fostering continuous growth.
  • Partner with Home Office Support teams and departments to ensure that common goals are met

4-Wall Operations

  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations within the practice, ensuring seamless coordination of activities.
  • Ensure that all operational protocols and procedures are consistently followed to maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage supply levels and inventory, including clinical supplies, office supplies, and PPE, to support uninterrupted operations.

Patient Care

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care by creating an environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction and comfort.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Business Acumen 

  • Manage operations within budget guidelines to optimize profitability and achieve financial targets.
    Oversee and optimize production goals to meet business objectives.
  • Analyze financial reports, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to improve financial performance.
  • Assist in the development and execution of initiatives, leveraging business insights to drive patient acquisition and retention.

Additional Responsibilities

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work professionally with diverse personnel and patient base.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. 
    • Cleared through the State of PA to work on children: determined through Criminal Background Check, Finger Printing, and Child Abuse Clearance
    • Management experience in the dental or healthcare industry strongly preferred

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a management position, preferably in a dental office. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work well with doctors, patients, employees and others. 
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and computer systems. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word. 
  • Cleared through the State of PA to work on children:  determined through Criminal Background Check, Finger Printing, and Child Abuse Clearance
