Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm and Every other Friday 7:45am - 1:00 pm 

Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for a high-energy, personable team member to serve our patients as a Treatment Coordinator!

At Cumberland, we combine clinical excellence with a fun, supportive atmosphere to deliver an exceptional orthodontic experience for every child and family we serve. As a Treatment Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in guiding patients and families through their orthodontic journey—from the first consultation to the final appointment.

This position is perfect for someone who’s friendly, organized, and passionate about patient education and service. You’ll collaborate closely with doctors to create treatment plans, explain insurance and financing options, and ensure every patient feels informed, confident, and supported throughout their care.

• Manage dental insurance prior authorizations, ensuring they are secured at least 30 days before surgery.
• Notify patients of their scheduled surgery time one week prior and confirm all necessary co-pays are collected in advance.
• Maintain accurate scheduling using Dentrix and Vision systems, ensuring alignment across platforms.
• Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedule changes and cancellations, keeping detailed records of reasons.
• Assist in collecting medical deductibles when applicable (separate from dental benefits).
• Check and respond to company emails daily to ensure effective communication.

• Experience working with Dentrix software is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with patients and staff.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel
