Responsibilities

The Hygienist is responsible for the following; plan, coordinate, oversee and provide patient care in all areas within the dental standards of practice and the policies of Chord Specialty Dental Partners within a pediatric environment. The Hygienist is required to make decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicate appropriate treatment information to other team members.  They will also maintain equipment, supplies, cleanliness and efficiency of the office.

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on individual patient needs and according to the Dentist’s orders
  • Must maintain Hygiene License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state in which you are practicing
  • Ensure the office is prepared for the patient including; turn on and off suction, air, water values, nitrous and oxygen, computers, TVs and ensure H2O bottle filled
  • Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, x-ray requirement and behaviors from previous visits
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of Hygiene
  • Current Hygiene license in state of practice, license in good standing
  • X-Ray Certification
  • CPR certified
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Must be available to travel between locations to meet operational needs.

 

Compensation: $50 - $52/hour

Schedule: Monday: 7:15am-6:30pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 7:15am-4:30pm, Thursday 7:15am-3:30pm Friday: 7:15am-3pm, 1 Saturday per month 8am-1pm
