Responsibilities

As the HR Systems and Support Generalist you'll be Chord's HR systems expert, owning HRIS configuration, implementation,
and administration across the organization. This is a systems-first role: with HRIS ownership, configuration,
implementation, integrations, and training documentation. This role also owns data entry, onboarding administration,
employee files, and reporting as supporting functions that keep employee records accurate and current.

 

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the HRIS, owning configuration, security, and access
  • Lead HRIS implementation, migration, and integration projects
  • Design and maintain SOPs, workflow maps, and training guides for HRIS processes
  • Perform data entry and data integrity audits across the employee lifecycle
  • Ensure new hires are set up accurately and timely in the HRIS
  • Build and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and compliance data
  • Serve as backup for the HR Operations Specialist during absences or high-volume periods

  • HR Process Knowledge: Grasp core functions like payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose root causes of system or workflow bottlenecks and build practical solutions

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work
    experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in HRIS administration, systems implementation, configuration, and process/workflow
    improvement
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with HRIS reporting and workflow-building tools

 

Preferred, but not required

  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS implementation or migration
  • 1-2 years of HR generalist experience, with a focus on onboarding
