As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist at Pediatric Dental Associates in West Philadelphia, you’ll help children build a foundation of optimal oral health that lasts a lifetime. Working alongside our board-certified pediatric dentists, you’ll provide preventive care such as cleanings, exams, radiographs, sealants, and fluoride treatments for patients from infancy through the teen years, including those with special healthcare needs. You’ll also teach kids and their families healthy habits in a way that’s fun, engaging, and easy to understand. The ideal candidate is skilled, gentle, and detail-oriented, with a patient, upbeat personality that helps even the most nervous kids feel comfortable in the chair. At a glance
Pay: $50-$54/hour, based on experience 
Sign-on bonus: $5,000 paid after 30 days
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45am to 5:00pm, Fridays as needed

•    Conduct comprehensive oral exams and assessments of patients' oral health.
•    Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures.
•    Administer fluoride treatments and take X-rays as needed.
•    Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care techniques.
•    Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in patient records.

•    Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License
